In this book we have Aimee, the heroine with a troubled past.
Cole, the man whore with family problems.
Mara, the supportive sister.
Jodi, the quirky best friend.
I loved this story because it sucked me in. You would immediately notice that something is wrong with Aimee because she's jumpy and her head is filled with sad thoughts. Cole would eventually help her with her past demons, but in the end, it was all up to her to help herself.
Cole had to forgive his mom for leaving them, and Aimee had to forgive herself and her best friend.
Aimee and Cole were good together and you could immediately see that Cole was smitten with Aimee.
