I adore the Assassins Series, and I was very happy with this book!
Unlike the other books, the girl is chasing the guy and trying to convince him that she loves him.
Piper finds out that she is pregnant with Erik Titov's baby after their night together. She decides to tell him after six months, because Erik is a manwhore and he treated Piper indifferently after their night together.
It took a long time for me to warm up to Erik. I wanted to murder him most of the time and he just frustrated the hell out of me. He was so insensitive, immature, and just plain mean. He treated Piper like shit at the beginning of the book. I know that he had a hard past, but the way he treated her at the beginning just rubbed me the wrong way.
I am so glad he redeemed himself at the end and stopped acting like a big baby.
Piper was wonderful. She was always so forgiving and loving. There were a few times in the book when i would have given up on Erik, but Piper just takes the time to listen to him, then she proceeds to forgive him after some grovelling from Erik.
