In the end, a sacrifice must be made. A life for a life. For what better way to cover a multitude of sins than with the blood of a sinner

REVIEW

This book picks up where Elite left off. The Sicilians are coming and Nixon is doing his best to protect Trace from them.
To protect Trace , he has to convince them that Trace is with Chase. Nixon pushes them together and even though it breaks his precious heart, he still does what he thinks will protect Trace. Chase is the only one who Nixon trusts enough to leave Trace with. Even though he knows that Chase has feelings for Trace, Nixon still pushed them together in order to save the love of his life.

A lot of questions will be answered in this book. I did not expect the twists that happened and I loved all of it! I had really high expectations from this book and it did not disappoint!

Nixon was so much nicer in this book and I loved him so much! He just wants to protect everyone especially Trace. He sacrifices so much and I just wanted to make it better for him.

Chase, oh Chase. It was hard to read Chase's POV sometimes. He tries so hard to repress his feelings for Trace, but in the end he just loved her too much.

I was surprised when I saw that there was a POV of Phoenix. I hated him in the first book, but I understood him more in Elect and I got to understand him better. I actually felt sorry for him.

I loved Trace in the first book because she was funny and not dramatic. My feelings for her in this book are 70/30. I felt for her because of all the things that she had been through, but there were times when I just wanted to smack her upside the head. I just think that she moved on too fast sometime in the book.

Overall I absolutely loved this book! The story was incredible! Your attention will be captured throughout the book! As always, Rachel Van Dyken is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
