SYNOPSIS

Sam's first day at Fallen Crest Public doesn't go well. Some girls want to be her. Some girls want to destroy her. And some just don't like her. All in all, despite being protected by Mason and Logan, it's still only the strong survive. Sam will not only have to survive, she needs to learn how to conquer too, but there's another battle growing. Things are about to come to a disastrous end between the towns, Roussou and Fallen Crest. Sam's other main dilemma? Keeping Mason and Logan from getting arrested or hospitalized.

REVIEW

Samantha got her spunk back. She's not an annoying cry baby anymore! I'm also glad to announce that there is less running in this book. Thank God for that. There is a part in this book where Sam gets hurt by Kate and her acolytes. Then there's the part with Mason and Kate. I wanted to strangle Mason in that part even though I knew he was doing it for Sam. Poor Sam, it was hard reading that part.
This girl is seriously nice because after all Kate has done to her, she still helped her.

Mason has some parts in his POV. Those were awesome. He may seem like a cold-hearted bastard to some people, but he was a total softie when it came to Sam. He loves her SO much. Mason is calculating, but he loses control when it comes to Sam because all he can think about is how he's going to make it better for her.

I would have wanted to read parts in Logan's POV, but something tells me that the next book will have his POV. (or at least I hope so) He was still protective of Sam and I loved how he really cared about her. He was always there for her and he was as willing as Mason to sacrifice everything for her.

The ending left me speechless.

I've always had my suspicions, but I didn't think I was right. I wouldn't say there was a cliffhanger, but the twist at the end will have you clamoring for the next book.

4.5 stars!
